The Delivery and Acceptance Ceremony of 4300 PCTC

            On 12th August 2011, the delivery ceremony of the 4300 PCTC  No. 4 (M.V. VIKING DIAMOND) was held in Nantong shipyard, Jiangsu Province. Mr. Carl, CEO of GCC Company (Ship-owner) from Norway, Vice General Manager of shipyard Mr. Guo and Vice president of CCIE (China Chengdu Import & Export Co., Ltd) Mr. Xu Chenhui officially signed the Certificate of Delivery and Acceptance for the VIKING DIAMOND.
 
            The 4300 PCTC (T.L: 164.8 m M.B: 28 m M.D: 30.09m D.D: 8.4m Service Speed: 18 Kn) applied Marine Diesel engine MAN7S50ME-CMK7 as the main engine and the hull included 428 sections with 12 car-decks totally. This 4300 PCTC is the first Ro-Ro carrier in the world applying the Flexible Single-Pillar design which maximized the freedom of fixing the ramps, reduced the traffic obstacles to minimum and obtained better utilization of the deck area and space for vehicle loading.
 
            After signing ceremony, VIKING DIAMOND was successfully delivered and exported.
